An equipment will be rented only after a thorough scrutiny of the borrower. The borrower must provide the required identification details. Note that the borrower’s personal information will be shared with a third-party agency who will help us with the scrutiny. After a borrower is approved, he/she needs to deposit an original photo ID to us during the rental period.
If the borrower is found with providing us incorrect personal information or returns a damaged equipment, he/she shall be blacklisted not only from Yaty Rentals services but all camera rental services in Bangalore.
An equipment is the sole property of Yaty Rentals and the borrower cannot claim the equipment at any point in time.
The borrower must ensure that the equipment is in good working condition while he/she receives it. During the rental period, guarding the equipment from damage or theft is the sole responsibility of the borrower.
If the borrower intends to take the items outside India, he/she must inform us in advance and take the necessary permissions. Similarly, the borrower must declare it to the Customs prior to leaving India and pay the required fees.
If the equipment is lost or damaged during the rental period, or if any of the accessories provided with the equipment is lost or damaged, the borrower must replace the lost item with a new one along with paying the rental till date.
A no-show or an unable-to-reach the borrower over phone situation on the date of return shall incur double the daily rental.
All the items that we rent are only for normal use. Please do not use them in any extreme conditions.
If the borrower cancels a booking a week before the delivery date, the entire amount paid so far will be refunded. For cancellations within the week of delivery, the advance paid (40% of the rental) will not be refunded. If the borrower has paid full rental at the time of booking and later cancels the booking in the delivery week, 40% will be deducted as part of the cancellation fee.
If we do not receive the rented items within 72 hours of the end of the rental period, and if the borrower is not reachable via phone, we will initiate a recovery procedure. This will include handing over the case to our legal team, filing an FIR with the cyber cell, booking a case of Section 420, publishing the picture of the borrower on our website and other social media platforms. We will also use the services of a private investigator to track the person and the items down.
